National Workshop on Innovative Uses of Solar Energy in the Agricultural Sector

The National Agency for Energy Management organized a national workshop on innovative uses of solar energy in the agricultural sector on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. This event is part of a study on innovative applications of solar energy in agriculture, particularly agrivoltaics, conducted by the Agency in collaboration with the Tunisian-German cooperation program.

During this workshop, the results of the study were presented, and preparations were initiated for the development of a coordinated national roadmap aimed at advancing this sector in its various technical, procedural, and legislative dimensions.

This workshop brought together several stakeholders, including the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy, the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries with its various institutions, as well as representatives from the Ministry of State Domains and Land Affairs and the Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas.
