The Second Meeting of the Steering Committee of the Program for the Intensification of Electric Mobility Adoption in Tunisia

As part of the Program for the Intensification of Electric Mobility Adoption in Tunisia, funded by the Global Environment Facility and implemented by the National Agency for Energy Management in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, Mr. Fethi Hanchi, General Director of the National Agency for Energy Management, chaired the second meeting of the program's Steering Committee on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the agency's headquarters.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Yoshinari Suzuki, Director of the Electric Mobility Program at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, Mr. Abdelhamid Kanouni, Director of the program in Tunisia, Mr. Lassad Ben Hussein, Representative of the organization in Tunisia, and Mr. Youssef Zidi, Representative of the Ministry of Environment.

During the meeting, the key achievements in electric mobility for 2024 were presented, along with the work plan for 2025, with a particular focus on the implementation of pilot projects in the municipalities of Bizerte, Sfax, and Djerba.
