As part of monitoring the progress of the Energy Transition in Public Institutions Program (TEEP), Mr. Nafaa Baccari, Director General of the National Agency for Energy Conservation, carried out, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, a field visit to two beneficiary institutions of the program in Béja Governorate, accompanied by a team of technical experts from the agency, representatives of the company in charge of implementation, and the control office.
🏢 First solar photovoltaic plant: Regional Directorate of Equipment
With a capacity of 27 kWc connected to low voltage, capable of covering about 100% of the annual electricity consumption of the directorate.
🏫 Second solar photovoltaic plant: Regional Customs Office
With a capacity of 19 kWc connected to low voltage, capable of covering about 100% of the annual electricity consumption of the office.
🌱 The TEEP program aims to equip 373 public institutions with a total capacity of 39 MW, for an estimated cost of 200 million dinars, establishing a fundamental pillar towards a low-carbon and more sustainable economy.
