As part of an official visit to Tunisia from August 4 to 8, 2025, a delegation from the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum and Mines of the Republic of Senegal carried out a working visit on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, to the headquarters of the National Agency for Energy Management (ANME), within the framework of a bilateral cooperation program with the German development agency GIZ.
✅ The visit program includes a series of meetings and site visits to the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy and various affiliated institutions, in addition to other organizations. The objective is to exchange experiences and expertise, especially in the areas of information systems and mechanisms for monitoring energy sector and energy transition indicators.
📍 On this occasion, a working meeting was held under the supervision of Mr. Nafaa Baccari, Director General of ANME, during which he and several agency officials presented a comprehensive overview of Tunisia’s experience in energy transition and renewable energies, highlighting the key role played by the agency in supporting this transition, reducing carbon emissions, and addressing climate change.
